Many of you may have already used this trick
to help your toddler learn to eat;
but I just figured it out for myself
and wanted to share this
easy tip with others.
My daughter is to the point where
she can
connect the spoon to her mouth,
but she
can't keep it level on the way there.
She wanted to badly to
{do it herself}
but was getting frustrated when there was
no food once the spoon reached her mouth.
One day she was being extremely picky.
In an attempt to make her cereal more tempting,
I squeezed in a tube of hot pink Gogurt,
since she loves yogurt.
The cereal stuck to the yogurt,
which in turn
clung to the spoon!
It "survived" the bumpy ride to her mouth
and she was able to feed herself.
And I love that it was a
healthy twist!
I'd read that
mashed potatoes is another
wonderful training food,
but I love that yogurt can be mixed with
so many things and creates a yummy meal for my daughter.
If you have another
other tips or tricks,
please comment because
I'd love to hear your ideas!
Thanks for stopping by.
