I printed my book on card stock and inserted each page into a sheet protector.

   With the "Activities Page", I printed the characters onto Iron-On Transfer paper

and then ironed them onto pieces of fleece. The characters/items are placed in a
zip lock bag and placed in a sheet protector behind the coordinating story.

My daughter played with them for hours on Sunday. And the best part is,
they actually stick to our benches at church so it kept her entertained during
sacrament meeting.

- Quick and Easy Cheesy Lasagna -

I just found this awesome new site called My Recipe Magic. Since I'm almost
8 1/2 months pregnant, I'm looking for fast and yummy meals that I can  
cook quickly.  I found this recipe on allrecipes.com but made some changes.

If you're looking for fast, cheesy, and delicious, this is a meal for you!

 - Quick and Easy Cheesy Lasagna -

Yield: 12 Servings
Prep: 15 Minutes
Cook: 1 Hour
Skill: Easy

Ingredients

• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
• 32 ounces sour cream
• 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 teaspoons dried parsley
• 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
• 1/2 teaspoon salt 
• 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
• 9 lasagna noodles
• 1/2 cup water

Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large frying pan. Drain any grease and add spaghetti sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Mix together the sour cream, 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, salt and ground black pepper.

In the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, evenly spread 3/4 cup of the sauce mixture. Cover with 3 uncooked lasagna noodles, 1 3/4 cup of the cheese mixture, and 1/4 cup sauce. Repeat layers twice. Top with 3 noodles, remaining sauce, and remaining mozzarella cheese. Add 1/2 cup water to the edges of the pan and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake at 350 degree F for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10-20 minutes until the water is gone. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Serve with salad and breadsticks.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted. This pregnancy has completely wiped me out,
but we are excited to announce we're having a boy sometime at the end of February!

In the meantime, I'm back for a bit and excited to announce something I've been working on.

Simplified Book of Mormon Stories for Toddlers!  

My 2 year old knows every princess and their "true love" and can tell me the
"Happily Ever Afters" by heart. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything to help
her understand and want to be engaged in scripture stories to the same degree.

I've looked everywhere for something not only fun on her level, but also something
we can afford on our budget. There's really not much out there so during my hours
sitting with this pregnancy, I started making and designing what I wanted.

                                                                      

Currently I'm working on Set 1 which will include 5 simplified stories.
Each story comes with a simple quiz at the end and a page of printables
so you can make laminated puppets, flannel board stories, magnet characters,
your own memory games, etc.

I'll be selling the first set in my Etsy Store soon as a downloadable PDF so you
can print it as many times as you'd like and either laminate it and have it bound
or just slip it in a binder with sheet protectors.

I'm thrilled to say my two year old learned the story "Lehi Leaves Jerusalem" 
from my sketch book and could do the entire quiz correctly within 5 minutes. SCORE!
